Google wishes to support small businesses in India to become mobile. According to The Wall Street Journal, the company is now working on launching the country's free tool for creating mobile websites.
It is assumed that a new service is going to be introduced in India this year. Later, the company plans to expand it to other countries. It not clear which countries will also include this service at the moment. Previously, Google has launched a similar program in the United States.
The WSJ article says that according to Google's data, nearly 75% of Indian entrepreneurs in general are not involved into the network system.
The number of Internet users in India is more than 460 million. It is less than 40% of the total population of the country.
